Popularity of the Sport Car Magazines

When we think of bright and shiny fast cars, the consumers tend to think of the exotic sports car as their first thought that comes to mind. This in turn makes the sport car magazines one of the most popular magazines for vehicle lovers of all ages who simply cannot get enough of them.  Fast corners and sharp turns come to mind with squealing wheels is the portrait that this vehicle has formed throughout the years, with bright shiny cars and stopping traffic for the majority of onlookers.

One of the most popular sport car magazines is “SportCar” which belongs to the Sports Car Club of America. With main-line articles full of powerful individuals such as racing champ Randy Pobst, every bit of information involves the varying aspects of racing–for amateurs, professionals, or on the official levels. Containing the latest breaking news about the SCCA and editorial comments, the “SportCar” sport car magazines have such fine tidbits such as Top Gear, which is for essential racing tools, accessories and gear. Different magazines offer different things, so checking them out online is a good idea before subscribing unless a person knows the magazine.

Many of the sport car magazines offer Marketplaces for selling and buying sports car and associated products. Some of the popular racing sport cars for the Touring 1 2008 Runoffs are the Corvettes, Vipers, and Ferrari 360s. Popular names, Road Racing ads focus on a wide range of vehicles—2003 Nissan 350Z Track Edition, Porsche 944 Turbo HPDE/track car, 2001 Integra GS-R ITE SPU DP HC, 1997 Porsche 944 Turbo DE/PCA/NASA Car, and the 2007 Robert Yates Racing Cars are just a few.

Motorsports auctions are listed in some of the sport car magazines in addition to the classifieds, with fields such as road racing, street cars, hot rods and drag racing vehicles.  Prices can range around $45,000 to $250,000 dollars, depending on the vehicle.  Some people buy the magazines to just look at these sport vehicles for fun, while others use them as more of a serious venture.

Having a top sport car magazine will keep the consumer up-to-date on events such as the 2009 SCCA National Convention in February of 2009, or even more local events. The purpose of the racing organization with sport cars is to support “selected automotive programs”—both in education and safety programs—and advertising such events and programs in their sport car magazine is very important. Some of the programs are “Teen driver training—Tire Rack Street Survival” or Developing Future Engineers through Motorsports”.  Staying on top of things means not missing important races, shows, programs or competitions whether an amateur or professional.
